Before you submit the final version of the directions for your group, test them by following them to your group's location and back.
Once you think you have all the right information, check for the following
- Do you have a clear, effective title?
- Are the directions numbered?
- Is each action presented in a separate step?
- Do the steps use imperative verbs?
- Are any graphics crisp and well-lit? Are they referred to in the text?
- Do the directions have a clean, uncluttered look?
- Are any dangers, warnings, cautions, or notes clearly indicated?
- Did you proofread for spelling and grammar errors?
